Flight Inclusive or Land Only Packages

You may book any of our international tours as either Flight Inclusive; where we book your flights or Land Only; where you book your own flights and meet the team in-country at the agreed trip start point (usually the airport or first night hotel). Trip prices and dates are advertised on the website as LAND ONLY and you can select to upgrade to a flight inclusive package in the booking options.

Flight Inclusive

If you opt for a ‘flight inclusive’ package we will contact you regarding your flight options. The flight cost listed on the options page is an estimate of the flight cost from London, the final price will depend on your departure airport, seat class, routing, availability and the live prices at the time of booking. Once your booking is confirmed and the trip is guaranteed to run we will take your preferences and offer you the best flight options we can find through our flight partners. You can either accept this flight and price or opt to revert back to ‘Land Only’ and book your own flight.

For all our flight inclusive packages we will require an additional non-refundable payment of the full airfare. For all of our flight-inclusive bookings, we will also charge a small administration fee as part of the total package cost (this will be included in the flight cost we offer you). Once you have booked a flight with us as part of your holiday we are responsible for managing any changes that might affect you.

Flight-inclusive packages are protected with an ATOL certificate through our Travel Trust Association membership, please see ‘Your Financial Protection’ section of booking conditions for more information.

Land Only

If booking a ‘Land Only’ package it is your responsibility to get to the trip start point at the arranged time. These details can be found on the trip page under ‘Flights and Arrivals’, specific joining instructions will be sent in your confirmation documentation.

Land Only bookings are protected under the Travel Trust Association’s Stand Alone Safe Seat Guarantee, please see ‘Your Financial Protection’ section of booking conditions for more information.

DO NOT make non-refundable travel arrangements or flight bookings before your booking has been confirmed and the trip departure is guaranteed to run. The booking confirmation response does not constitute this confirmation – we will write to you clearly stating when it is ok to go ahead and book flights.

 

Pricing on website

Please note: All prices shown on our website indicate the LAND ONLY package price. This price does not include your international flight to get to the trip starting point.

Trip start and end dates

All tour dates shown on the website indicate the start and end date of the itinerary in-country. (i.e. the day you need to arrive and the day you depart your destination). For some destinations, this will require your flight departing from the UK the day before the tour start date, and likewise arriving back to the UK the day after the trip end date. This is dependent on the specific flights booked but information on usual timings can be found on the ‘flight arrangements’ tab of the booking page for any tour. It is important to factor this time in transit in when booking time off work etc.

For our regular tours, the first day of any day is an ‘arrival day’ on which you can plan to arrive at any time on this day. You will transfer to a hotel, usually in the arrival city and have time to recover from your travel and make final preparations ahead of your upcoming activities. This may include time to shop for snacks or last-minute supplies and a welcome briefing in the evening.

The last day of any tour is the departure day, where no activities are planned other than a transfer to the airport. You will usually be staying in a hotel the night before and have breakfast included on your departure day. Again this means you can choose a return flight at time tme on the departure day.

Flight extensions

If you wish to add extra days at the start or end of your holiday please indicate this on the online booking form and we will contact you to discuss options.

Paying for your flight

For all Flight Inclusive packages, we require a non-refundable payment of the full airfare, in addition to the trip deposit, to be made ahead of us booking the flight. We cannot book your flight until this payment has been made.

Making changes to your flight

Once you have booked a flight with us as part of your holiday we are responsible for managing any changes that might affect you. All changes are subject to the selected airline’s terms and conditions, you must pay any charges levied by the airline concerned in relation to changes to your booking.

Please note: As most airlines do not permit name changes after tickets have been issued for any reason, these charges are likely to be the full cost of the flight / an alternative flight.

Group Flights

If making a group booking (10+ persons) we will where available make a group booking on your behalf. This usually allows us to wait until closer to the departure date before committing to names and final numbers. Group bookings are subject to the selected airline’s terms and we will discuss the best options for your group at the time of booking.
